How our pricing works

Three rules. They're the whole commercial model, and none of them require you to phone anyone.

1. The price ladder is public

Every product page carries its full quantity ladder — one case, five, twenty, a pallet. Not a teaser price with “volume discounts available”, not a gated tier behind an account login. The number you see at your quantity is the number that goes on the invoice.

We do this because the alternative is a game. Suppliers who hide volume pricing are betting that some customers won't ask, and those customers subsidise the ones who do. We'd rather price it once and be right.

2. Price per unit is always shown

A case of boxes at $15.50 is meaningless until you know it's 25 boxes. So we print both: the case price and the per-box price, on the card, on the product page, in the cart.

It makes us easy to compare, including against people who are cheaper than us on a given line. That's a deliberate trade. If you can only win when the customer can't do the maths, you don't have a business.

3. A short catalog is what makes the price work

We stock roughly sixty SKUs. Not because we couldn't list more — listing is free — but because a narrow catalog bought deep beats a wide catalog bought thin on almost every metric that matters: unit cost, stock reliability, pick speed, and the fifteen minutes you'd otherwise spend deciding between four nearly identical box sizes.

The corollary is that we will sometimes not have what you want. When that happens, tell us. Most of the current list arrived because enough people asked for it.

What we don't do

  • Fake list prices. A struck-through price on our site is a price we genuinely charged, not a fictional MSRP.
  • Accessorial surprises. Liftgate and residential delivery are priced into the freight quote at checkout, not invoiced three weeks later.
  • Loyalty penalties. Your tenth order is priced the same as your first at the same quantity. No creeping renewal uplift.

Business accounts

An account adds net terms, PO numbers, multi-user approval and twelve-month locked pricing on your regular lines. What it does not add is a secret cheaper price — the public ladder is the real ladder. Open an account →
