About Shipzik
We started Shipzik after watching a warehouse manager spend eleven minutes on a supplier site trying to work out which of four almost-identical box sizes was the cheap one.
Industrial supply e-commerce is mostly a search problem that vendors created on purpose. Enormous catalogs, prices that move depending on who's asking, unit sizes that make comparison hard, and a phone number where the real pricing lives. All of it is defensible from the seller's side and exhausting from the buyer's.
So we built the opposite. A catalog small enough to hold in your head. Prices printed in full, including the volume ladder. Per-unit costs alongside case costs so you can check our work. Freight rated at checkout rather than negotiated by email.
What that costs us
Transparency is not free. Publishing the volume ladder means we can't quietly charge an uninformed buyer more, and a short catalog means we lose the long-tail order. We think both are worth it — repeat buyers are the entire business in this category, and repeat buyers notice.
What we're not
We're not a marketplace, we're not dropshipping, and we're not going to be the cheapest on every line. We hold our own stock, which is why the lead times on this site are honest rather than aspirational.
Talk to us
There's a phone number in the footer and a person on the end of it during business hours. If you need something we don't stock, tell us — it's how most of the catalog got here.
